JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking experienced and proactive Piggery Supervisors to manage pig production processes, from breeding to market-ready pigs. The role requires expertise in modern piggery operations, animal healthcare, and efficient breeding techniques. The ideal candidates will ensure effective herd management, animal welfare, and productivity in line with farm objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

➢ Breeding and Reproduction

• Oversee pig breeding programs, including crossing matrix and record keeping.

• Monitor reproduction cycles and ensure high survival rates.

• Apply modern techniques for improved herd productivity.

➢ Animal Health and Welfare

• Administer treatments, vaccinations, and preventive healthcare.

• Ensure high standards of hygiene and animal welfare.

• Work with veterinarians to manage and resolve health challenges.

➢ Nutrition and Feeding

• Implement effective feeding programs for pigs at different growth stages.

• Monitor feed utilization and growth performance.

• Provide recommendations for dietary improvements.

➢ Operational Oversight

• Supervise piggery staff to ensure compliance with SOPs.

• Maintain accurate records of breeding, growth, and sales.

• Train staff on modern piggery practices and animal handling.
